Established in 1905
Lyn Oakes has been providing the citizens of the West Midlands with formalwear for over 60 years. Lyn Oakes has a rich history of designing and tailoring elegant suits with custom designs for their customers.
We have shared a fantastic relationship with Lyn Oakes for years and years and we are constantly working together to find new ways of improving their brand through their e-commerce store and website design.

Lyn Oakes understood how important it is to have an impressive online presence.
They knew they wanted a clean website design that lets the impressive images of their products really take centre stage.
They also needed to move to a new modern e-commerce platform to unlock more sales potential and growth.

We took a minimalist approach to the website design, with clear space to showcase Lyn Oakes’ products.
Modern iconography with transparency gives users recognised UI elements without cluttering with unnecessary text.
Understanding the client
Fantastic imagery and detailed descriptions of each product, show the level of quality and detail that goes into making each product.
Lyn Oakes value themselves on using the best materials they can find and are proud to show this off in their product descriptions.
E-commerce freedom
A mix of function and form presents the range of products while keeping to the roots of the brand; style and fashion.
The Lyn Oakes website was originally designed to adapt to be responsive on any screen size and any device, be it desktop, mobile or tablet.
Almost half of website visitors now shop with a smartphone or tablet device and it’s important for the initial website design proofs to tailor to this.

A seamless transition from
the existing site to new site
Magento2 allows a seamless e-commerce experience for the client and their customers, whilst allowing us as designers to design a bespoke website with almost endless possibilities.
Integrating into their existing payment solution and marketing campaigns whilst retaining data continuity meant that re-platforming to Magento2 was as painless as possible and did not disrupt the established workflow.
